Overview of the current situation in Zurich's hotel sector

After the pandemic-related slump, Zurich's hotel sector has recovered well and in 2024 it shone with new highs, thanks in part to major events such as the UCI Road World Championships and Taylor Swift concerts.

In general, the boom in city tourism continued in 2024. BAK Economics also expects stronger growth in urban communities in the coming tourism years.

Various hotel operators are planning to enter the Zurich market in 2025.
