CHICAGO, March 20, 2019 – JLL today announced the firm’s life sciences platform has achieved a pair of globally recognized certifications from the International Standards Organization (ISO). ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certify the firm’s life sciences group upholds the highest standards of quality and occupational health and safety management (OH&S).
“As the life sciences industry becomes increasingly complex, companies need to know their partners can perform at the highest standards,” said Paul Frillici, Environment, Health and Safety Lead for JLL Life Sciences. “These designations confirm our practice is aligned with the most rigorous global standards for management systems and can champion a safe, quality compliant culture within the highly regulated life sciences industry.”
ISO 9001 certifies an organization has documented policies and procedures for managing service quality, customer satisfaction and corrective and preventive actions, and that top management guide the organization to continually improve performance.
The ISO 45001 certification specifies requirements for an OH&S management system and gives guidance for its use, enabling organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces, and proactively improve OH&S performance.
“The certification of quality and HSE systems demonstrates our commitment to meet the quality and compliance expectations of our clients and relevant global authorities,” said Roger Humphrey, Global Leader for JLL Life Sciences. “These designations are a testament to our deep bench of life sciences talent, which has leveraged decades of industry experience to develop these quality and compliance systems.”
